After 3 nights of wiping, we finally got him! Without doubt it'll rank in the top 3 kills for me in the entire game. Just a few tries before the kill we had the most agonizing 40K WIPE!! It was so so so close.. from 1 mill to 40k it felt like a lifetime.. After the 40,000 HP (2 lava bursts, one kill shot crit, a few arcane blasts, a few stabs from a rogue, a few ticks of drain soul!!! ARGH!) wipe, I rallied the troops with the tale of our Lady Vashj kill, again an agonizing 1% wipe on her, and we bounced back and killed her on the next try. We came back and gave it our all, and everything fell into place.. vent just exploded when we finally got him.. and on the 40k wipe! YES YES GOGOGOGOGOGOGO CMON DIIEEEEE....... <silence> NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

WE'RE FOUR TODAY!!

Four years ago today, Underachievers were formed, I wasn't around when it was formed, but I was lucky enough to join almost three years ago, during the start of TBC. And from there it's been one hell of a ride, from Karazhan to Icecrown, I've been lucky enough to get to enjoy all of the content with you.

We've changed a lot since the Kara days, slowly picking up pace in TBC to end on a very awesome note, killing Archimonde the day before the "nerf patch" just before WotLK lauch. And again in WotLK starting off slowly, and picking up the pace to finish WotLK (when it's over!) in a strong position again. None of this would of been possible without you all, members and raiders, past and present. To all of you, I give you my most sincere of thanks, the times we've spent together raiding, or just chatting in-game, I've truly enjoyed! Here's to another year, and Cataclysm!

We spent about five days in total on him, most of it, of course, being defiled! But on this night something clicked in everyone, and behold, We had mastered phase two! All it took then was a few tries to complete phase three, and claim our kill. Generally I think we should of been a lot faster with this, we had some trouble with BQL and then Sindy. But we overcame them easily in time, and one extend was all that was needed. Awesome job guys, we're not a hardcore guild, but we damn well play like one when everything goes right. Give yourselves a pat on the back, now heroic modes await!

After killing Sindy 10 HC recently, we then only had a few normal achievements to do to complete the meta. Some of us only had Full House and All You Can Eat to complete. Full House was one of those achievements that should of been done a while ago, but once we killed LK10, we moved onto HC modes. We took down Full House in one go, but All You Can Eat was the tough one, took us a few hours of tries to get everything right, we had two low % wipes due to very very bad RNG... bladdy Blistering Cold! Awesome job guys, we'll mop up the rest of the achievements for everyone and do a few more sweeps of HC mode for everyone else! Here's a screenshot of some of the new drakes getting to know each other!

We finally took the time to actually do Firefighter a week or so ago, which meant we could now fight this guy in 25 and get shiny titles etc. We did a bit of practice on Lich King 25, then came to Ulduar, a quick Iron Council HM to hand in Mimiron's Sigil and shazam me and Kajman had keys for the Celestial Planetarium. I have to admit, with about 30 mins left on our raid, I wasn't expecting too much, it's Algalon after all, some fights you can't really steamroll. But it was really really easy, we got him on the third try! Shame we didn't really have time during TotC to actually finish off this amazing content. But it was defiantly worth it in the end, for the fact we can say we've done it, and the achievement points (yey 9,010!!!!)

In other news, we had a guild meetup in London recently, organized by our friends in Stop Gratz! It was great to meet some of you! I hope we do it again soon!!

In more news, we're now in Lich King 25 finally, took us a while! Best try 49% on the first night. Now we just buckle down and get some good tries in. And finally, here is the screenshot!
